Here are some of our favourite crab cakes to try, from the simplest to the most sophisticated.
Crab cakes and jelly crab cakes are made with crab cakes, and the perfect combination of spices and sugar makes these crab cakes super scrumptious.
Crab Cake Spoons Recipe 1 pound crab cakes (or 2 medium sized crab cakes) 3 tablespoons sugar 2 teaspoons salt 2 cups of coconut milk 2 tablespoons of honey 1 teaspoon of sea salt 3 tablespoons of butter, melted and cooled slightly 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 cups shredded crab 1 cup of chopped coconut 2 teaspoons coconut oil 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped 3 tablespoons butter, softened and cooled 1 cup chopped coconut flakes (or 1 tablespoon dried dried) 1 cup shredded coconut 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon honey 2 tablespoons sea salt 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom 1 teaspoon sea salt 2 tablespoons butter (or margarine) 1/3 cup water 3 tablespoons (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into 1/16 inch cubes (or 3 tablespoons) 1 1/5 cups (2 cups) heavy whipping cream 1/6 cup sugar 1/7 cup sugar (or maple syrup) 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (or honey) Directions To make crab cakes: Mix the crab cakes in a food processor or blender.
Process until crumbs are combined, and crumbs look like the consistency of jam.
Add the sugar and salt.
Blend until smooth.
Add coconut milk and honey and process until mixture looks like fine chiffonade.
Blend on high until mixture thickens.
Pour crab cake mixture into prepared spoons or spoons.
Pour melted butter over the crab cake and stir to combine.
Garnish with fresh rose and dried coconut flakes, if desired.
